Description
Oxfordshire County Council is looking to appoint a qualified consultant to develop the Oxfordshire Local Area Energy Plan: A County-wide LAEP scenario baseline as per Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) stages 1-4, on which to build up to five District Level LAEPs (stages 5-7), plus a summary report of Oxfordshire-wide actions. These three outputs will, together, form the Oxfordshire LAEP (OxLAEP).
Additional information: Oxfordshire County Council is inviting consultants that are qualified to develop Local Area Energy Plans (LAEP) to a series of Hybrid Open Days in Oxfordshire on the 8th and 14th of August, to carry out additional market testing on the Oxfordshire LAEP Draft Specifications, and bring together local engagement specialists and investment specialists with LAEP consultants to explore consortia and subcontracting opportunities.
Procurement commencement is scheduled for the 16th of August. The successful Oxfordshire LAEP (OxLAEP) consultant will deliver the LAEP, building on the Energy System Catapult LAEP standards, and support the local County and District councils with the development of a LAEP function: embedding LAEP capability in-house, so that local area energy planning can become integral to the Councils' work.
Open day dates: 8th of August, 2:00 pm to 4:00pm 15 in person places, unlimited hybrid
14th of August: 10:00am - 12:00 pm 15 in person places, unlimited hybrid
Address: County Hall XYZ
Please register your interest to attend by emailing [email protected]. First come first served on in-person places. We may limit to one person per organisation, if required to maximise attendance. Draft Specifications will be shared with participants on the 1st of August, questions can be submitted from that day.
