The procurement documents are available for unrestricted and full direct access, free of charge, at https://defra-family.force.com/s/Welcome Any questions, requests to participate or tender submissions must be submitted electronically via this portal. AHDB is looking to procure a supplier(s) to provide cereals and oilseeds crop harvest, planting, and crop development reporting across the season. The information needs to inform growers, grain traders, processors, industry stakeholders and other interested parties about planting progress/intentions, condition, development, and harvest progress at set points in time during the season.
AHDB requires suppliers to source data and intelligence from a range of different sources. Our current methodology for crop reporting is based on a network of independent agronomists but we are open to suggestions for alternative provision.
We have split the requirement across three lots and will award either multiple suppliers or a single supplier depending on the evaluation outcome of tenders received.
