Additional information: The proposed solution is expected to facilitate and support systems and providers to enable efficient, effective and robust delivery, and operational and strategic decision making. Encapsuling top down strategic and operational levels to support healthcare delivery, whilst incorporating national directives and localised system and provider initiatives. The ambition is to support planning and: ⢠Enable better decision making for population and patient flow management for improvement targets ⢠Enable monitoring and management of potential costs so support financial control across workforce, assets, capacity, supplies ⢠Enable Assessment of workforce requirements, including bank and agency to support delivery and cost ⢠Support Performance against National and Local targets
The current expectation is that solutions would enable the end-user to create multiple planning scenarios to:
A) set the plan but also to consider multiple assumptions and options as part of that process which reflects the decision process of systems and organisations.
B) connect assumption and driver-based planning modules between integrated healthcare processes and the corporate resource management of workforce, assets, supplies and capacity
C) consider how to address the tracking of delivery in year together with cost implications and staffing requirements and that this would be available at all levels from board to operational managers to assist with delivery
