Description
Via East Midlands Limited (Via) strives to be the partner of choice for engineering services in the East Midlands. Via provides sustainable highways and fleet management services for Nottinghamshire and across the wider East Midlands region. Established in 2016, we have developed an excellent reputation within the industry, delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions, time and time again. Via is wholly owned by Nottinghamshire County Council and carries out a range of highways and fleet management services on behalf of the council.
Via also offers a broad range of services to commercial clients throughout the East Midlands region and beyond, throughout the highways and engineering sectors. Profits generated from this work get reinvested into front-line services in the county.
Via offers services both specific to highways and in the wider engineering sector, including:

The Highways Division is responsible for the management of 4,200 km of road, 300km of cycle paths, 90k streetlights 88k road gullies and approximately 10,000km of sewers within the Nottinghamshire County Council boundaries.
The department employs approximately 350 people, there are a number of bases within the county.
Via East Midlands Ltd (defined as the Purchaser(s) are seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Contractor that can supply, and install where necessary, Traffic Signal Controllers and Miscellaneous equipment.
The purpose of this tender is to award a contract to a single Contractor able to provide for the supply and installation of traffic signal controllers and miscellaneous equipment as required by Purchaser(s).
