Description
We first embarked upon our crowdfunding journey in March 17 whereby we went into a contract with Spacehive. The council introduced a £50,000 pledge pot to support projects that are crowdfunding in the borough. Over this period, we have seen 10 successful projects raise £348k from over 1,000 backers across the borough. This has given Barnet Council a funding leverage of 9x. We are now wanting to continue on this journey and have awarded Spacehive with a contract for a further 2 years.
