A5 Parallel Cycle Route

Preliminary design of an approx 4mile cycle route broadly adjacent to the A5. The route will use a combination of existing green spaces and quiet roads. Subject to budget the project may also include feasibility design of 2no adjacent sections of the 'Barnet Loop'. The project will contribute to Barnet's Transport Strategy and aspirations to introduce green transport and thereby support healthy Barnet initiatives. A SPIR has been issued to Re a formal response for which is awaited. However, we are seeking the opportunity to market test schemes such as these and the proposal is to test the viability of LB Haringey's Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
