Description
The Housing Benefit Assurance Process was previously carried out by the Department for Work and Pension (DWP) before responsibility to procure Housing Benefit (HB) Subsidy auditors was passed to local authorities. The existing contract covered HB subsidy audit for 2018/19 and at point of award it was confirmed that further competition would be undertaken for future audits.
The Annual Procurement Forward Plan 2019/20 authorised procurement of Housing Benefit Subsidy Audit for a 2-year period with potential 2-year extension option.
