Sustainability Engagement Facilitation

The Sustainability Strategy has an important part to play in Barnet Council’s role of improving the lives of residents and businesses across the borough. As residents, businesses, and partner organisations are key stakeholders who will be affected by the strategy it is important that we involve them in the strategy’s development, prior to then consulting on the final draft strategy. We are looking for a provider to assist in initial engagement activities including workshops and the production of a report.

To ensure impartiality, the council wishes to commission an external market research provider (MRP) to conduct sustainability engagement on the council’s behalf. Following the undertaking of a procurement exercise, Applied Negative Emissions Centre was selected to facilitate this engagement.

The Sustainability Strategy Framework, which was approved at December Policy & Resources, delegated authority to the Executive Director of Resources to take the necessary actions to proceed with procurements for the development of the Sustainability Strategy.
