The Provision of Covid-19 Bereavement Support & Counselling Services

• The aim is to reduce the impact of trauma and grief in isolation by providing short-term bereavement support to those who affected by Covid 19. By putting in place an early intervention service we aim to prevent prolonged grief and related mental health problems occurring at a later date. • The service will be available to individuals who live or work in Barnet who are bereaved by Covid 19 deaths (including family, friends, carers, work colleagues, and those with a professional relationship with the person who has died, such as health and care professionals). • Also to include those who are already struggling with bereavement, or whose relatives or friends die through other causes during the coronavirus outbreak.
