West Hendon Playing Fields Technical Support

The West Hendon Playing Fields project is a significant improvement programme for one of the borough's largest parks. The masterplan was adopted by Environment Committee in March 2020 and an outline business case for the scheme obtained approval in June 2021. The masterplan includes the introduction of a range of sport and leisure facilities (including a community sports hub building), as well as landscape and playing field enhancements. To build upon the work carried out as part of the feasiblity stage of the project, the Council requires technical lead / project management services. This will provide quality and cost assurance throughout the project, supporting with future procurement exercises and provide project/contract management support throughout. It is proposed that these services are sourced via a compliant framework through which a mini competition can be run.
