Description

Bluelight Commercial (BLC) is undertaking pre-market engagement with suppliers to gain insight into the market for cryptoasset investigation software and associated services. BLC is working in partnership with the Home Office, law enforcement organisations, and other government departments and agencies to explore the procurement of digital tools and related services that will enhance investigative capabilities in the prevention, detection and investigation of financial crime. The licences and services under consideration include: • Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions that provide cryptoasset tracing, investigation and analytical capabilities. • A range of licence types and licensing models to support optimal utilisation across participating organisations. • Licence management and administrative services. • Specialist investigative support, including assistance with complex investigations and the development of evidential packages for criminal proceedings. • Application Programming Interface (API) services to enable investigators to query blockchain data in real time. • Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to enhance investigative effectiveness and operational efficiency. • Secure-by-design solutions that incorporate appropriate security controls and safeguards. • Coverage of a broad range of cryptoassets, blockchain networks and related technologies. BLC is considering the establishment of a multi-supplier framework for the provision of the tools and services described above.
