Description

Iarnród Éireann intends to replace the existing diesel fuel distribution pipework associated with the train fuelling system in Connolly Station. Approximately 200 metres of the pipeline connection from the fuel farm to the arches underneath have recently been replaced with a double-walled pipe with leak detection. The purpose of this project is to replace the remaining pipeline network, approximately 950 metres with a modern double walled fuel distribution system incorporating continuous leak detection, shut off valves, improved accessibility for inspection and maintenance, and enhanced environmental protection in accordance with current industry standards and best practice.
