Description
Modification of a contract under Regulation 71(1)(c) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR). Warwickshire County Council awarded a contract for Traffic Signal Equipment and Intelligent Transport Systems following a competitive procurement exercise. The original contract notice was published on the TED website (2019/S 162-397533) followed by the contract award notice (2020/S 048-114785). The original contract was let by Warwickshire County Council on behalf of itself and two other authorities (Coventry City Council and Nottingham City Council) and has an expiry date (including extensions) of 31/3/2027. The proposed modification seeks to extend the duration beyond the initial term by a period of 24 months, meaning it will now expire on 31/3/2029. The extension period was not provided for in the originally awarded contract.
