Description

The service is to deliver comprehensive, inclusive, and needs-led support for all People Living With or affected by HIV ("PLWH"), including those at increased risk of acquiring HIV, and those who support and care for them. Kirklees supports the ambitious and important national target to end new cases of HIV in England by 2030 - the service will contribute towards the achievement of this locally through the provision of both universal and suitably targeted prevention work. The service will use a holistic approach to focus on prevention and support PLWH to maximise health, well-being, quality of life and social integration, recognising the interdependencies between an effective support offer and the prevention of transmission and new cases of HIV.
