Description
The impact of domestic abuse on the lives and well-being of residents and communities across the Wigan Borough is significant. It is essential that we work proactively in partnership to prevent Domestic Abuse from happening in the first instance. We must also ensure we provide the best possible care and support to those families effected by Domestic Abuse at the earliest possible opportunity and use every available resource to address perpetrators of abuse. This is a community-based service to continue with our co-ordinated community response model towards Domestic Abuse.
