Description
HMRC needs to right tools and data to do its job effectively and efficiently. Research material and sectoral information is a key datasource required on an ongoing basis. HMRC does not produce this quality material internally, so needs to buy it from external suppliers who produce it far better than HMRC could produce it internally. Without the right tools and data, there is always a significant hidden cost to HMRC, i.e time spent by valuable resource seeking out the right data from unapproved sources.
