Description

Leeds Heat Pump Ready Phase 1 The council has successfully bid for a grant from the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy's Heat Pump Ready programme, to carry out a feasibility study into the deployment of networked ground source heat pumps as an alternative to mains gas at community scale. In order to receive the funding and conduct the study the council must enter into a grant agreement with BEIS and authorise receipt and expenditure of the funding. This contract is to formalise the payments to the other consortium members as Leeds City Council is the lead partner.
