Description
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust ("The Trust") currently outsources all of its Occupation Health Services including, but not limited to, Pre-Employment Checks, Vaccinations, Health Surveillance, Psychological Therapy Provision, Musculoskeletal Service (MSK), Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). The current outsourced contract is due to expire in June 2024. The Trust wishes to consider what is the best way to provide a service that encompasses guidance for Trust managers and staff on the services that are available, appropriate education and training to support the wellbeing of staff and the care delivery for other services required to respond to workplace injury or harm to staff members.
The Trust has created a High-Level requirement but is seeking a partner to support the preparation requirements to option appraise and develop an outline business case for Occupational Health Services which will be used to drive the Trust Governance, Procurement, and affordability guidelines for our future requirements. The option appraisal and outline business case will enable any future service provider to provide the Trust with an effective and efficient occupational health provision.
The Trust requires the services to commence on the 4th September 2023 at the latest and cover a period of no more than 30 working days to complete the option appraisal and outline business case documentation. The available budget for this project must not exceed £21,000.00 ex VAT.
