This notice is being published by way of a Modification Notice: Nature and extent of the modifications: This modification notice concerns a contract for the provision of Executive Recruitment and Selection Services first published by MTU on 13 July 2022 pursuant to a Request for Tenders (“RFT”) RFT 218663 - Tender for the provision of MTU Executive Recruitment & Selection. The RFT indicated that the term of the resulting contract would be for a 12-month period with an option to extend this term for another period or periods of up to a maximum of 12 months. MTU exercised this option to extend the term by a 12-month period which brought the term to 31st October 2024. This notice relates to a further 12-month extension that brings the term of the contract up to 31st October 2025. VII.2.2): Modification reason: ◯ Need for modification has been brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority could not have foreseen, and the modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract; (Regulation 72(1)(c) S.I. No. 284/2016 - European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations 2016. Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances: The need to extend the term of the contract to 31st October 2025 relates to an unforeseeable delay that occurred in securing the approvals required for the recruitment of the executive positions. This in turn gave rise to a delay in the commencement of the services. The delay in commencement meant that it would not have been possible to complete the recruitment services for all of the required roles without this latest extension to the term of the contract. The delay in securing the necessary approvals for the relevant executive roles could not reasonably have been foreseen by MTU. This extension does not alter the nature of the contract in any way and the same terms and conditions will continue to apply. VII.2.3) Modification Price Increase This extension of the contract period will not result in any price increase.
