The Home Office announced a further £3 million of funding to help vulnerable EU citizens apply to the EU Settlement Scheme for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 financial years.
The new £3 million of funding will ensure that those who are the most vulnerable continue to receive a wide range of support online, over the phone and in person to help them apply to the EU Settlement Scheme. More information can be obtained via: Apply to the EU Settlement Scheme (settled and pre-settled status): Apply to the EU Settlement Scheme: https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families.
The funding will be split into separate Lots:
Lot A is divided into the 4 UK nations; and is for organisations accredited to OISC Level 1 Limited to EUSS and OISC Level 1. There will be an allocation of one grant awarded for each of the nations:
⢠Lot A1: Within England ⢠Lot A2: Within Northern Ireland ⢠Lot A3: Within Scotland ⢠Lot A4: Within Wales
Lot B is for UK wide coverage for those organisations accredited to OISC Level 2 and above. There will be multiple grants awarded until the funding for Lot B has been fully allocated.

The bidding process for this funding will be launched in early May 2023.
Funding will be available to Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations willing to support vulnerable EU citizens and their family members with making EUSS applications.
