NHS Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) on behalf of 16 CCGs of the West Midlands wish to commission an integrated urgent care model comprising NHS 111 services and integrated GP Out of Hours provision.

This will be a pivotal service for the local urgent care health and social care economies in the West Midlands and will need to be able to work at a regional and local level in helping patients access the right care at the right time.

The 16 CCGs covered by the planned future procurement exercise are:

NHS Sandwell & West Birmingham CCG NHS Birmingham CrossCity CCG NHS Birmingham South and Central CCG, NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG, NHS Dudley CCG, NHS Herefordshire CCG, NHS Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG, NHS Shropshire CCG, NHS Solihull CCG, NHS South Warwickshire CCG, NHS South Worcestershire CCG, NHS Telford and Wrekin CCG, NHS Walsall CCG, NHS Warwickshire North CCG, NHS Wolverhampton CCG, NHS Wyre Forest CCG

Additional information: As part of the early planning for this procurement, the Commissioners are keen to engage actively with the market at an early stage in our development of an integrated specification. There is a planned market day on Tuesday 1st December where we wish to share the overall direction as well as local visions and seek feedback from the provider market prior to commencing the formal procurement process. This will be an interactive session in which comment and input will be sought from all suppliers.

Interested suppliers who wish to receive information about this event should email Harie Mandair on [email protected] no later than Monday 23rd November and further details will be sent accordingly.
