Description

AWARD NOTICE Housing First in Brighton and Hove complements the Integrated Support Pathway and focuses on the most entrenched and complex clients, those who have been through the hostel system a number of times and have been repeatedly evicted or are unsuitable for hostel accommodation.

The range of needs include; mental health issues (diagnosed and undiagnosed), learning disability, alcohol/substance misuse, behavioural problems (resulting in anti-social behaviour), head injury, victims of domestic violence, victims of financial exploitation physical health issues and individuals with a history of offending.

The Council has been contracting a pilot scheme for Housing First since 2013. The existing service provides support to seven clients who all have their own accommodation. For the avoidance of doubt, this contract is for the provision of support and not the provision of accommodation. Further units of accommodation will be sourced by the Council’s Housing Department to expand the service to a minimum of ten units.

The contract is for an initial duration of three years, with provision for an extension of up to two years. Interested providers should express an interest through the EU- Supply procurement portal for further information and access to the Invitation to Tender, which contains the full terms and conditions of participation. https://uk.eu- supply.com/login.asp?B=BRIGHTON-HOVE
