Description
Historic England invites tenders for a project to develop a new technical platform and new governance arrangements to enable the heritage sector to better develop, publish, manage, fund and host Research Frameworks.

The objectives are to: ⢠Develop the technical platform to:

⢠Develop a business model to cover: o the governance of the platform in the future o licensing and copyright o future funding options for facilitation of the user community, hosting, maintenance and development
Due to the scope of the work anticipated, we welcome tenders from consortia to provide range of necessary skills and experience. o Technical development of online collaboration platforms o Hosting and long-term availability of internet resources o Data standards, semantic search, and models in the heritage sector o Understanding of how online communities work o Understanding of historic environment research o Local authority heritage management
