Description
Highways England is seeking to procure a weather forecasting service that will provide a tailored weather forecast for Highways Englandâs Strategic Road Network. The initial core service required will be for the National Forecasting Service and the provision of Area 7 Operational Forecasting. Optional elements (at Highways Englandâs discretion) which may be included during the course of the contract will be Operational Forecasting for the other 12 Highways England Areas, the 10 Highways England Design, Build, Finance & Operate (DBFO) routes, and the development and incorporation of innovative weather forecasting products or services.
