Description

Somerset County Council is in a system of change for their Learning Disability Provider Service (LDPS) with the intention of delivering the service through a Social Enterprise partnership which is expected to be completed by 31/03/2016 at the latest. Somerset County Council is setting up a temporary structure (project) to support the LDPS in delivering the organisational transition leading up to the selection of a partner to co-deliver the social enterprise partnership. This work will complete around September 2015. The project is driven by the Learning Disabilities Programme Board in response to an external viability assessment. Spin-Out Expertise for the Learning Disability Provider Service (LDPS) to prepare the organisation for operating in a commercial way and to support the LDPS in delivering the organisational transition.
