WUTH currently provides 95% of Direct Access Diagnostic Imaging services across Wirral, with the remainder being provided by Any Qualified Providers (AQP), there are several AQPs active for the Wirral Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The current CCG contract is due to end March 2016 however the CCG has extended the contract until September 2016 to allow time for the tender process to take place for the new contract which will be for the period 1st October 2016 ? 30th September 2019 with an option to extend by a further two 12 month period (3 years plus 1 year + 1year).
