• Flexible Open Space o Space for temporary use will also be provided between the extended Friary and the listed retaining wall (outside of development area) o The area will be finished with seating terraces, and a planted bank to tie into the existing levels forming an earth retaining structure. o This area will also need to be made capable of accommodating the occasional vehicle turning.

• Opening Isambard Walk as a two-way vehicular street between Friary and Temple Back East o The existing pedestrianised Isambard Walk will be opened for two-way vehicle access to create a link between Temple Back East and Friary, and to tie in with the existing road of the private estate. As part of this work a new footway will also be provided to the eastern side of the Isambard Walk new carriageway. o Isambard Walk will act as a shared space, and so will be treated to reduce the potential dominance of vehicles and reduce vehicle speeds o The footway, trees, cycle parking and street furniture to the west of Isambard Walk and in The Square would remain as existing.
