Description
This Contract Award Notice is the second contract award notice required on this procurement (Contract Notice 2023/S 139-439651) ( Contract Award Notice 1: 2024-OJS093-00283911) which was conducted in accordance with the negotiated procedure with prior call for competition, pursuant to Article 46 of S.I. No. 286/2016 – European Union (Award of Contracts by Utility Undertakings) Regulations 2016. EirGrid under this agreement is engaging the following for the provision of Low Carbon Inertia Services. Contract No. 1: Quarry Lane Stability Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Statkraft Ireland Limited) with company registration number 575866 and address of c/o Statkraft Ireland Ltd, Building 3400, Avenue 3000, Cork Airport Business Park, Cork, T12 AE76. Contract No.2: Glencloosagh Energy Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Statkraft Ireland Limited) with company registration number 620461 and address of c/o Statkraft Ireland Ltd, Building 3400, Avenue 3000, Cork Airport Business Park, Cork, T12 AE76. Contract No. 3: Buffy Letter Limited with company registration number 742785 and address of c/o Enerco Energy Limited, Lissarda Business Park, Lissarda, Cork, P14 YN56. Contract No. 4: Green Frog Power (Wexford) Limited with company registration number 743454 and address of c/o Green Frog Power Limited, Unit 3d North Point House, North Point Business Park, New Mallow Road, Cork, County Cork, T23 AT2P. EirGrid may extend the term of the agreement for 2 additional time periods of up to 18 months each. Any such extension is subject to the approval of the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (if required), the written consent of the party carrying out the services under the agreement and any other provisions set out in the agreement. The value of all contracts awarded in this notice includes the value of all such extensions being exercised.
