Description
Marketing Birmingham is the areaâs strategic marketing partnership, which focuses on three business areas (i) investment, (ii) the visitor economy and (iii) strategic marketing.
The company is funded by the public and private sectors, and acts as an economic development and promotions agency undertaking long term Service Level Agreement contracts. Clientsâ examples include: Birmingham City Council; the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF); Finance Birmingham and Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership.
Alongside this, Marketing Birmingham also is commissioned on a project by project basis by clients across the Midlands areas. These can range between consumer and business activity, across sectors and geographic markets - regional, domestic and international, with more focus on the latter two territories. This contract is being managed by Marketing Birmingham and the project is being delivered for Marketing Birmingham.
The aim of this project is to provide market intelligence on perceptions of Birmingham as a place to visit, do business and as a place for businesses to relocate to. The survey has been carried out since 2005 and is used to track trends and as an important KPI.
