Description
The provision of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Inspection & Testing Service for vehicles licensed by Telford & Wrekin Council. Bidders must be an approved DVSA Vehicle Testing Station located within the Borough of Telford & Wrekin.
The main provisions of the inspection & testing service is to:
â¢Ensure that licensed vehicles are mechanically safe and meet the standards of the DVSA MoT. â¢Ensure that licensed vehicles are compliant with Telford & Wrekin Council's licence conditions. â¢Ensure that trailers towed by licensed vehicles are of a safe construction and suitable for the towing vehicle. â¢To carry out a meter accuracy test for hackney carriages on the Council's measured mile
