Description
The Welsh Government wishes to commission:(i) Qualitative research to better understand the lived experiences of ethnic minority learners and staff in the FE sector, including experience of racial discrimination and harassment and their views on what needs to change in order to achieve the anti-racist Wales ambition; and(ii) Development and testing of a set of questions to be used in future surveys, at institutional and national level, to provide evidence of the experiences of learners and staff of all ethnicities, and to measure progress over time towards achieving the goal of an anti-racist FE sector. The research team must include individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, who are either employees of the successful bidder, or recruited for the purposes of this contract (for example, through partnership with a third sector organisation). This is to ensure that the research is co-constructed and carried out with the full involvement of ethnic minority communities, is informed by lived experiences, and secures the engagement and trust of learner and staff participants.Potential bidders are invited to express an interest in either part (i), part (ii) or both.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=124945.
