Framework Agreement for the Provision of Balanced Salt Solution

The purpose of this tender is to put in place a Framework Agreement for the supply of Balanced Salt Solution for use in Ophthalmic Surgery to the participating Trusts.

All products must conform to EU and UK Legislation.

The contract will be for:

• Balanced Salt Solution in glass bottles • Balanced Salt Solution in plastic containers • Balanced Salt Solution in bags • Balanced Salt Solution in eye drop form • Balanced Salt Solution irrigation solution

This is a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the discretion of the EMPC and provider(s) agreement.

The current annual value with the EMPC members is £22,000 per annum The estimated contract value is in the region of £200,000 (for the 4 year Framework period), depending on Contract take up by the Trusts listed in 4(Description) above.
