All allocation of work to spot contract Providers will be sanctioned through the Adult Care and Housing Commissioning Team. The contract will commence on or around the 1st December 2016 expiring 31st March 2018. The Council currently commissions approximately 13,000 hours per week of Community and Home Care Support however this offer does not carry any guarantee of turnover and any estimated volumes of business are indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on actual future needs. As mentioned above, there is no guarantee of business for Providers under this Spot Contract Agreement. The intention is to award to the highest scoring Providers based on the selection criteria stated in section 1.1.5 of this document and ensuring the coverage of the Borough.
