Description

The National Measurement & Regulation Office (NMRO) (formerly the National Measurement Office) has a requirement for the testing of a selection of domestic ovens (electric) to verify compliance with the following regulations: • EU No 65/2014 (Energy labelling of domestic ovens and range hoods) • EU No 66/2014 (Ecodesign requirements for domestic ovens, hobs and range hoods) • EC No 1275/2008 (Ecodesign requirements for standby and off mode, and networked standby, electric power consumption of electrical and electronic household and office equipment)

Testing may be used as part of a criminal investigation. Therefore the supplier must confirm that they can fulfil the evidential traceability requirements laid out in ISO 17025 for supplying evidence that may be used as part of a prosecution.
