Description
Trinity House is looking to appoint a contractor to review and update the Trim and Stability documentation of their vessel THV GALATEA. The works are required to demonstrate the ability of the vessel to operate with a closed ballast system. Renewed documentation is to be provided to Trinity House in both electronic and hard copy formats for onward approval by Class (Lloyds Register) and Flag State (Maritime Coastguard Agency). Existing Stability Information is approved to IMO A749(18) For Intact stability and A 469 (XII) (two compartment) for damage stability.
Works required are as follows: 1.Review and update the Trim and Stability Documentation 2.Gain approval by Class (LR) and Flag State (MCA). 3.Optional: Light weight determination, inclining test and with the results implemented in the trim & stability documentation.
