Description

Following the fire and failure of the cladding systems fitted to Grenfell Towers in London. As part of these works, 4 blocks at Barton Hill were identified as requiring further investigations. these blocks were Longlands House, Ashmead House, Harwood House & Barton House. The preferred method of carrying out the investigations is by the use of abseil technique and the scope of the works required are: • Remove once section of cladding 1500mm wide x 600mm deep on each floor on different elevations at fire barrier level • check for fire barrier confirm depth material and mesh lapping • check spacing of fixings and type i.e metal or plastic • replace, seal and encapsulate section back in place.
