Description
There is a wealth of experience from other utility sectors which provide important learning for us to consider in our review of the benefits of competition to residential customers in water. We require a highly skilled economist with experience of regulation at a senior level to conduct a review of competition in the energy sector, including the market arrangements, roll out and performance in electricity and gas. This work will include an analysis of the recent CMA investigation into the energy market and its decision on remedies, and the impact of these on possible competition models in the water sector. This analysis will help inform our findings on the costs and benefits of competition for residential customers in the water sector. The report will later be published, in line with our commitment to an open and transparent review. For further information please refer to ITT. You will need to register with mytenders.org to access the ITT document and for Q&A's
