Description
Ofwatâs consultation which closed on 30 November 2015 described how Ofwat would exercise its statutory powers and duties in relation to Interim Supply. Following on from the consultation exercise, we will need to develop a âdraftâ Interim Supply Code in early 2016 that reflects the outcome of the consultation. We plan to consult on the proposed text of this legal instrument during February 2016. In addition to the âdraftâ code, the consultation document will also need to contain a summary of the responses and outline our policy decisions and the rationale for them. Pending the outcome of the consultation on the code, further drafting amendments may be required. A final code would be issued before the end of March 2016.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of the draft and final interim supply code as set-out in this document.
Key responsibilities within the programme
The successful candidate will work closely with Ofwat staff within Retail Market Opening work-stream.
