Description

Essex County Council (ECC) will be tendering for a criminal justice intervention service, targetting offenders with complex and additional needs. This will be a unique and innovative service and we welcome the opportunity to work with the successful bidder to develop the service. In light of the uniqueness of this new service we would like to invite appropriate and experienced suppliers to participate in this tender process. The new service will potentially incorporate criminal justice based support for individuals with substance misuse, mental health, LD or other complex vulnerabilities. It will cover both the prison (HMP Chelmsford) and community with the aim of reducing reoffending amongst these individuals.
