Description

NHS Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wishes to commission an Integrated Community Gynaecology and Urology Service. This will comprise of two lots, with lot 1 for the provision of Women’s Gynaecology & Continence Service, and lot 2 for the provision of a Men’s Urology service.

The CCG is seeking providers with the appropriate capability and capacity to deliver a high quality, patient centred Community Gynaecology Service (lot 1) and/or a Urology Service (lot 2). The overarching goal of each service is to provide an innovative, high quality, consultant-led community service to the residents of the geographical areas covered by the Central London CCG. Furthermore, the service aims to deliver an accessible, efficient service that manages the majority of diagnostics and outpatient activity within primary and community care settings, significantly enhancing the capability of professionals, patients and their carers to effectively manage urological conditions.

The service is intended to improve the patient’s experience, support, and if necessary, provide access and onward referral to specialist services

The contract duration will be three years, with one optional two year extension. It is intended that the new service will commence from December 2015. The combined total value of the contract over the three years is estimated at circa. £4.5M, with an estimated value of £3.5M for lot 1 (Women’s Gynaecology & Continence service) and £1M for lot 2 (Men’s Urology service).
