Description
A Young Peoples Specialist Drug and Alcohol Service that will work in close partnership with key Young Peoples and Families services to ensure a multi-agency approach towards achieving successful outcomes and building resilience in Young People and their families. The Service is expected to provide a wide range of interventions which will incorporate the following: ⢠Targeted Early Intervention and Prevention for those âAt Riskâ â providing screening and brief interventions for Young People. ⢠Harm Reduction and Specialist Interventions â providing a range of services / interventions from brief advice to evidenced based structured psychosocial interventions. This will include needle exchange and substitute prescribing when required. In addition the Service will also provide a Specialist Substance Misuse worker who will work alongside and under the direction of Families First Intensive Prevention Service Team (IPS), with a specific cohort of Young People at risk of becoming Looked After Children.
