Description
NHS Blood and Transplant wish to explore the opportunity to work alongside an academic partner in building a UK Organ Donation and Transplantation Academy. The Academy is part of NHSBT's current Organ Donation Transplantation strategy and will be branded as an Academy in name. The purpose of this opportunity is to establish a working relationship with an academic partner in relation to but not limited to the following: 1. research and development opportunities, including scope for potential collaborative research projects; 2. education and training activities, with the collaborative development of various educational/training programmes, with the potential for accreditation; 3. consultation activity; 4. placement and graduate recruitment opportunities; and 5. potential use of the Parties' respective facilities. 6. joint publication of articles relating to the partnership and the work done jointly as part of the new Academy. 7. A representative from the successful organisation would sit on the academic senate of the new Academy reviewing and advising on all courses and academic work undertaken.
It is expected that the vast majority of work will not have any associated cost. Each organisation will be solely responsible for any and all costs and expenses incurred by it and any financial considerations associated with any further collaborations would be dealt with separately on a case by case basis.
It is anticipated that this arrangement would remain in effect for 3 years.
If this opportunity is of interest then please contact the undersigned on the email address as shown.
The deadline for receipt of expressions of interest is Friday 10th February 2023 at 12:00 noon.
