Specifically: ⢠Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply* ⢠Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply ⢠Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply It is these Levels above which staff will typically be put forward for, although on occasion there may also be a requirement Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations, therefore the option of providing Level 3 training by exception is also required. The number of staff who are studying for CIPS varies according to the number of eligible staff, work commitments and budget. On average over recent years the average number of students studying at each Level has been in the lower to mid-single digit range. These historical volumes but are not intended to be a guide for the duration of the contract. Student numbers will vary and be confirmed on an annual basis with no guarantee of a minimum number per level; or that any one or more of the CIPS Levels will be required each year. The successful Provider should then be able to offer training on Levels 3-6 inclusive as required (and / or as the syllabus is updated by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply); and across the range of optional modules within Levels (as relevant). Any optional modules will be agreed with SCC prior to commencement, with a requirement that the optional modules taught per level will be those requested by the Council.
