Description
Nottingham North & East CCG on behalf of the Nottingham West and Nottingham North & East CCGs are seeking a Prime Provider for Community Musculoskeletal Service. The service will provide a Single Point of Access (SPA) triage and, where required and appropriate, clinically assess and treat adult MSK referrals from GP practices and health professionals. The Provider will be the contractual partner of the CCG that will be accountable for the delivery of MSK services, the MSK budget, and all of the patients and pathway. The Service should allow movement of patients seamlessly, receiving the right care in the right setting at the right time, streamlining the experience for patients and reducing unnecessary waiting and inefficiency.
Additional information: The Services are health care services and are therefore Part B services for the purposes of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) ("the 2006 Regulations"). The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the 2015 Regulations") set out transitional arrangements and Regulation 120 of the 2015 Regulations confirms that the 2015 Regulations do not yet apply to the procurement of health care services for the purposes of the NHS within the meaning and scope of the NHS (Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition) (No.2) Regulations 2013) commenced before 18 April 2016.
Consequently, the 2006 Regulations apply to the conduct of the CCG to secure a capable provider of these services. Any assessment process arising out of this Contract Notice will be run in accordance with all relevant legislation and guidance as far as it pertains to Part B health care services. For the avoidance of doubt the Commissioner will not be bound by the Public Contracts Regulations 2006, the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) or any other regulations or legislation except for the specific parts or circumstances that apply directly to the procurement of Part B services.
Providers that would like to take part in this tender process are invited to âExpress Interestâ via https://in-tendhost.co.uk/scwcsu/aspx/Home. The procurement exercise will be conducted in accordance with the information contained in the tender documentation.
The deadline for expressions of interest to this tender is 12 noon on 1st October 2015.
The contract will commence on 1/04/2016 for a 5 year period with the option to extend for any period up to 24 months.
