Description
Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council (the âCouncilâ) wishes to enter into a contract for its Material Processing Treatment & Disposal Contract (the âContractâ). The contract scope comprises of the following lots: Lot 1 â Street Sweeping and Gully Waste Lot 2 â Wood Lot 3 â Soil and Rubble Lot 4a â Garden Waste (from household collections) Lot 4b â Garden Waste (from HWRC and grounds maintenance) Lot 5 â Mixed Municipal and Domestic Waste Lot 6 â Ceramics Lot 7 â Plasterboard Lot 8 â Carpet Lot 9 - Mattresses. Bidders may bid for one Lot or any number or combination of Lots. The main objective of the Contract is to provide an efficient and effective service with a strong emphasis on value for money and maximising recycling wherever possible.
