The works to Middle Chine Bridge are as follows:
⢠To prepare areas of corroded steel and paint the whole of the bridge. ⢠Remove the hand rail and prepare and paint the localised areas of the parapet. ⢠Repair / replace areas of heavily corroded steel sections and bolts as instructed.
The works to Alum Chine Bridge are as follows:
⢠Lift the timber decking and mesh panels and remove to store ⢠To prepare areas of corroded steel and paint the whole bridge ⢠Paint mesh panels ⢠Replace the decking and mesh panels
The contract is due to start on the 22nd August 2016 and is expected to finish by the 14th October 2016.
