Sussex & Surrey Police are collectively developing a procurement strategy for the re-procurement of their respective repairs and maintenance (R&M) contracts. To assist us in the decision making process, we are undertaking a "Soft Market Test" to help inform how the future procurement strategy for the delivery of repairs and maintenance of our built assets will be developed. Sussex & Surrey Police, with support from its external advisers, will be conducting a soft market test comprising the completion of a questionnaire and attendance at a "Meet the Buyer" event to be held on 13 October 2015. The purpose of the exercise is to gain market intelligence on best practice to help inform the most appropriate procurement strategy. Respondents are welcome from a variety of maintenance and facilities management backgrounds, including SME organisations. Respondents will have experience in delivering Day to Day Responsive Repairs and Maintenance to building fabric; Servicing and maintenance of building services installations (including lifts, security systems, fire alarms and access controls); Cyclical planned maintenance; Minor works up to 100,000GBP in value.
