Description
Pre-Tender Market Engagement Technology Enabled Care Service.
Lancashire County Council is due to embark on a procurement process to source a provider(s) to deliver our future Technology Enabled Care Service.
This intended commission will significantly widen the scope of our current telecare service to become all age, preventive, proactive and fully integrated with remote health monitoring and electronic care records. It is an ambitious commission that will introduce new and innovative technologies and digital approaches which enhance the experience and the outcomes for our service users. We want the move from analogue to digital to be much more than a simple replacement, it will be an opportunity for a fundamental redesign of our existing telecare offer.
Our intended new approach will embed a complete service offer which includes supporting the assessment and care planning process and delivering a proactive and appropriate response.
The intended procurement is likely to commence in October/November of 2022, with service commencing 1st November 2023. The final specification for the procurement will be determined by the feedback from the market engagement event and stakeholder consultation being carried out through the summer period.
We would welcome your comments and views.
Providers who may be interested in delivering the services above are invited to an engagement event. The purpose of the event is to give you the opportunity to ask questions and to find out more about our commissioning intentions.
This will be on online engagement event on Monday 18th July 2022 10:30-12:00.
To register for the event, please contact the [email protected] with your name, organisation name and contact email address so that joining instructions can be sent.
The event will be recorded and available on this page following the event for anyone who is unable to attend.
The Council reserves the right to amend what is set out in the engagement events and documents. Any procurement process that may be conducted will only be in accordance with the procurement documents that are published. Please regularly check these pages for the Procurement Process details.
