Description

NEL CSU on behalf of NHS Enfield CCG is seeking to establish an approved list of suitably qualified providers for Consultant-led Community Ophthalmology Services within the Enfield Borough. The procurement is being conducted in line with the Light touch Regime (LTR 2015), using the Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process. The Commissioner is looking for suitably qualified and experienced provider(s) to continue with the provision and development of a broad range of high quality ophthalmic services which are currently delivered in the community settings within the boundaries of the Enfield District for access to Enfield patients. The service will be pivotal to the continued achievement of reduced waiting times by offering more community based services to patients, therefore reducing demand for secondary care and releasing that capacity for those patients with more complex and urgent needs. The service will benefit patients by delivering a more efficient and effective care pathway. The provision of alternative treatment settings will also support the reduction in demand for secondary care.

Please see the attached advert and link for more information.

Additional information: Full details of the Service are provided within the Service Specification along with a AQP qualification Information document providing some helpful supplementary information about the commissioning intentions of the Contracting Authority and can be found along with the rest of the procurement documents on NEL CSU ProContract ePortal.
