Description

This tender is for the delivery of a youth engagement programme, targeted at schools in the Greater Manchester Police force area.

GMP has previously undertaken to develop a digital platform aimed at young people, to encourage engagement with policing and safety issues in a way which is both appealing and relevant to the target audience. This new requirement is to develop and deliver a schools engagement programme which supports the roll- out of this digital app.

The chosen provider must have the skills, experience and contacts to successfully approach 30 schools in Greater Manchester, gain access to class time through enterprise days, and deliver interesting and engaging sessions which promote the digital platform.

The Provider will also be required to work with the Home Office CTZN Innovation Team to provide a ‘Grand Final’ event to celebrate the most successful intititaives.

GMP has up to £120,000 available to commission services that meet the specification. Should additional funding become available, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester reserves the right to extend the contract (either incrementally or as a single extension) upto a total contract term of 48 months
